(Friends) has achieved strong support from a diverse group of individuals but has received large donations from Foundations that have caused it not to meet the public support test. Support from these Foundations was expected to end and Friends management has been developing plans to expand its donor base and grow its support. Unfortunately,the Covid-19 virus and the subsequent economic climate has limited its ability to conduct fundraising activities and attract a wider base of donors. Its plans include fundraising events, enhanced use of social media and broad distribution of a recently published brochure. Friends management is confident that its past efforts and future plans will result in it meeting the public support test in the future.
