A grant application is required annually for each project. This application requires, amount other things, a statement of the projects purpose and goals along with a brief description of sources of funds. The grant requester agrees to use the funds provided by Baal Dan directly for the children it serves. It also agrees to provide written reports to Baal Dan as to the use of the funds as well as to maintain records and receipts for Baal Dan's review upon request. Once a grant request has been received, each request is reviewed and determined where the project is stable, reputable and in keeping with Baal Dan's purpose and goals. All grants over $5,000 are approved by Baal Dan's Board of Directors. In most cases, funds are disbursed to recipient's using best method available (wire, check etc.). In addition, grantees provide photo updates, receipts and email communication on the impact and outcome of the grant made.
