Part X, Line 2: Region IV Family Outreach, Inc. is exempt from income tax under provisions of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This Code enables Region IV Family Outreach, Inc. to accept donations that qualify as charitable contributions to the donor. Region IV Family Outreach, Inc.'s increase in net assets is generally not subject to income taxes. However, income from certain activities not directly related to Region IV Family Outreach, Inc.'s tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. No provision for income tax has been recorded in the financial statements as Region IV Family Outreach, Inc. had no unrelated business income in fiscal years 2022 or 2021. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The Form 990 is presented to the governing board at a meeting prior to filing the 990.
