A naturalist will write a monitoring report and forward it to the stewardship committee chairperson for review. A copy of the report will be forwarded to the landowner, the land trusts board President and Secretary.The conservancy has an easement violation policy for assessing and addressing violations. Reports conservation easements (Part II, line 9) There is no revenue earned in association with easements held by the conservancy. The conservancy holds a dedicated fund account for stewardship and defense of its easements. The board of directors have designated funds for the defense of fee lands and conservation easements as needed. At December 31, 2023, the defense fund totals $74,555.
