RTI has a process for making annual contributions at the corporate level to charitable causes. The process, governed by annual budget and consistent giving criteria, seeks staff recommendations for worthy recipient organizations. The Community Partnerships Board reviews the contributions proposed by the staff and makes a recommendation to the CEO and CFO who make the final decisions. The decisions are reported to the staff, thereby setting the program for the fiscal year. In the fourth quarter of the fiscal year, the CEO and CFO, in consultation with the Corporate Affairs, review the programs, lessons learned and prospects for its evolution.
