development department to ensure funds are allocated and utilized appropriately. Scholarships are awarded to students accepted into an accredited university for the study of theatre. A letter of acceptance from the institution is required before any scholarships are distributed. TUTS offers tuition assistance to students of both HSMT and The River. Applicants must complete an application, and students awarded assistance must maintain a satisfactory 80% attendance rate for classes to remain on scholarship. Awards may be granted based on the applicant's talent, academic merit, or financial need. Partial and full tuition awards are based on the availability of funds.
