Be Kind Now Inc. intends to bring like-minded people together for charitable initiatives to create lasting change in their lives and communities, by fighting deprivation of basic needs like food, shelter, clothing, education etc. NJ Hunger Project - For a second year in a row, Be Kind partnered with another nonprofit One Project to help fight food insecurity in our local communities. Over 1000 volunteers came together on July 15, 2023, and packed 101,418 meals to be distributed through Mercer Street Friends to other food pantries in the area. 12360 14560 Thanksgiving Drive -Be Kind collected donations from Oct 25th to Nov 10th, 2023, and on Nov 11, 2023, with the help of kid and adult volunteers packed 250 Thanksgiving baskets and then donated extra supplies to the Robbinsville Food Pantry at the Vincent J. Calcagno Robbinsville Senior Center. Thanks to the volunteers for their donations of canned & nonperishables, funds & time to help make Thanksgiving baskets full of supplies enough for a family with everything except the turkey in each bag. Volunteers from NJ Rise Food Pantry picked up 250 Thanksgiving meal bags packed by our Be Kind volunteers and distributed Thanksgiving meals (including the ones from BeKind) with a turkey to 1313 families in need. 0 4260 Meal Packing Event - On Feb 25, 2023, Be Kind along with 120 volunteers, packaged 10,000 meals and collaborated with local food banks to distribute them to the food insecure.
