Paradigm Shift is primarily a field-based organization. While we maintain a US-based office, the majority of our energies are in Africa. Our physical presence ensures programs are successfully launched and funds used to launch or expand programs are closely monitored through program expense reports which track the various expenses incurred when expanding or establishing the program. Paradigm Shift used a cash accounting method. The 64 programs were the recipients of Paradigm Shift investments who mobilized 450 volunteers who trained 2,000 micro-entrepreneurs from 25 different African nations. Additionally, the policy undergoes periodic review to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
