All employees are employed by Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions, Inc. (CRES), an unrelated organization exempt under section 501(c)(4). The cost of salaries and fringe benefits are allocated under the terms of a resource-sharing agreement based on hours worked. CRES Forum reimburses CRES for its share of these expenses. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b A copy of the Organization's return is provided to members of the governing board and legal counsel prior to filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Board members annually report any conflicts in writing and on an ad hoc basis during the year if and when relevant conflicts arise in between written reports. Those reports are reviewed annually and over the course of the year so that appropriate recusals (if any) can be facilitated and recorded in meeting minutes. Compensation levels are recommended to the full board following an annual review process of the organization's key performance indicators (KPIs) carried out by the HR & Compensation Board Standing Committee.
