Form 990, Part IX, Line 11g Event Production Costs for the Artist Workshop by Brave New World Enterprises cost $157,312.70 and included the following: - organizing and administrating travel for workshop panelists - the creation of all contracts for each panelist and vendor - the travel costs for all out of state panelists (total of 15) - video and photography and the production of a talent show event in August of 2023; Event venue costs where all workshops were held: The Marriott Seatac event room total of $33,119.97; Stipend payments for panelists: $24,050, $3,712.10 for staging equipment rental, and $4,657.50 for security over a total of 8 events. Connect to Nature also contracted for multi-media production including photography and videography services over 3 months, as well as supplying food for over 300 participants at the Federal Way Public Academy on the last day of school for their Campus Clean-up Day. The additional production costs totaled $48,500. This was filed late for the same reason as 2022 was filed late. We had an accounting firm (H&R Block) that had confirmed they would be handling the 990 in the fall of 2023, only to be told in April of 2024 they would no longer be available to complete either year. In addition I was forced to care for my grandmother who suffered a stroke in late 2022 and then had to deal with my father's death in the fall of 2023.
