Annual budgets and major expenditures are approved by the ministry, and funds are transferred as needed for approved charitable activities. The ministry receives regular financial reports and supporting documentation, including transaction records and receipts when available. Ministry leadership maintains frequent communication with school leadership regarding operations, staffing, projects, and finances, and reviews expenditures for consistency with the ministry's charitable purposes. The ministry president generally travels to Kenya four times each year to inspect operations, evaluate programs and projects, meet with local leadership, and provide direct oversight. Continued funding is contingent upon satisfactory financial accountability and program performance.
